Hi there! Lifted Hands will be reaching out to touch lives this Christmas season by paying a visit to the motherless babies home and the boy/girls correctional centres. Jesus went about doing good, and we intend to do the same. So, how can you help? By sending in your contributions/donations to this worthy cause. We need items such as clothes (for adults and babies), shoes, food stuff, toiletries, drugs, text books, and of course cash! Closing date for contributions is December 12 2009! If you want to make a contribution, please inbox me on my facebook page or send an email to lifted.hands.international@gmail.com. Giving is a form of worship, and Jesus died for these ones too, lets lend a hand and give a heart, the Lord is counting on you.

Thank you and God bless you as you give.

We Will All Have This Experience - One Day!

Timothy woke up suddenly one night and saw a strange light in his room....The problem is that the lights are off he saw the clock; it was 3.30 in the morning
Okay...so where was all this light coming from??
----------
He turned around and saw something very strange. His body was half way through the wall (??!) He immediately pulled it out and sat down to see if he's okay.....
This seemed strange to him...He tried to push onto the wall, but his ARM GOES THROUGH
...
HE heard a sound

HE turned to his brother's bed to see him sleeping. He was really scared of what was happening to him...so he tried to wake him up....but....he doesn't reply!! He went to his parent's bedroom... tried to wake up his mother...and father...just wanted somebody to react to him...but nobody did. He tried to wake his mother up again...she woke up this time...
-----
She got up ... but didn't communicate to him, she was saying "In Jesus Name" again and again...She woke his dad up saying 'get up, man, I want to check up on the kids.'
dad replied in disinterest... 'it's not time for this, let me sleep and by God's grace tomorrow I'll get to that'

But she was insisting...so he woke up. Timothy was THERE. He was screaming..'dad', 'mum' ... nobody was replying! He held unto his mother's clothes to grab her attention. but she didn't recognize his existence

He followed her 'till she got to his bedroom. They got into the room and turned on the lights...it wasn't making any difference to him anyway because there was a strong light there. He then saw the strangest thing in his life...

HIS OWN BODY....on his bed.

He was trembling...how can there be two of him??...how can that person look so much like him??...and what is he doing on his bed???? He started hitting/slapping himself to wake up from this nightmare...but it was too real to be a nightmare. Dad said, see the kids are sleeping. Let's go back to bed.' but mother wasn't at all confident...she went to the person sleeping on the bed and said

Timothy, wake up!! ... WAKE UP!!' but he wouldn't reply. She tried again and again....but no reply. Then he turned to see his dad tearing... Today witnesses the first time in his life that he would seen his dad's tears.

The place was shaking with the screaming... His brother woke up..."What's going on??!" In a very sad tone! , with tears rolling down her cheek, mother replied 'your brother's dead! Timothy is DEAD!!'
------
He went to mother and said 'please mum...don't cry. I'm right here look at me!'But nobody's replying to him..WHY?? Timothy turned to Lord Jesus Christ and asked Him to wake him up from the nightmare! Quickly following his fear was a voice saying:
“It is appointed once for a man to die and after that is the judgement" Suddenly two creatures held his arm...they weren't human!!

He started screaming "Leave me ALONE! Who are you and what do you want from me??"
They told him they were his grave's guards' He responded 'but I'm not dead yet! let go of me!!' I can still see, hear, touch, and speak...I'm not dead! They replied with! a smile : "You humans are fascinating! You think that by dying your life ends, while in fact life on Earth is a small dream compared to the life after; a dream that ends at your death."

They started pulling him towards his grave...
On the way he saw people just like himself, each had two guards like his. Some were smiling, others crying, others screaming. He asked the guards 'why are they all doing that?' They replied 'These people now know their fate...some were in ignorance so they--'

'--so they go to Hell??!' he interrupted. They said 'yes.' and continued...'and those laughing are going to Heaven' He quickly replied: 'What about me...where will I go??' They said 'you were at times a good Xtian, while other times not. One day you obey the Lord Jesus Christ, the next you disobey Him. And you weren't clear with yourself and your fate will remain so: lost.' Timothy replied, shaking: 'SO! AM I GOING TO HELL??' They said: ' God's mercy is great, and the journey is long’ Timothy turned to see his family carrying his dead body in a coffin...so he ran to them... He said: 'Pray for me' but nobody replied... He went to his brother and warned him... 'be careful with what you do in this life... don't be a fool like myself!' He was really hoping that they could hear him... The two angels (guards) tied up his soul on top of his body... He saw his relatives pouring sand over him...
----
at that moment He was hoping that he would be in their place...that he can turn to his Lord Jesus Christ and do as much as He wants from him...that he would ask for forgiveness and once and for all repent of his sins that angered Him...but unfortunately he couldn't. He shouted ' People, don't let this life tempt you! Wake up to the truth... one day you will DIE, and you never know when...or how. '
He hoped for somebody to hear him....nobody there did

but YOU heard him now....

save yourself.

Smile to others; forgive them when you have the power to punish them. Lord Jesus forgives those that forgive others. Let God guide your life, not Satan. Read the Bible regularly and let the Holy Spirit be your role model in life.
Work in this timed life for your salvation in an eternal one.
And ... pray for timothy because he is not perfect. And he points the above to himself just as much as he does to his friends.
Please spread this message to as many people as possible, for every person whose heart it touches God will reward you in this life and the hereafter.

Mary Had a LIttle Lamb

Mary had a little lamb,
His fleece was white as snow
And everywhere that Mary went
The lamb was sure to go

He followed her to school each day
Wasn’t even in the rule
He made the children laugh and play
To have a lamb at school

And then the rules all changed one day,
Illegal it became
To bring the Lamb of God to school
Or even speak His name

Everyday got worse and worse
And days turned into years
Instead of hearing children laugh
We heard gunshots and tears

What must we do to stop the crime,
That’s in our schools today?
Let’s bring the Lamb back to school
And teach our kids to pray!

I can't remmeber where I got this version, but it really blessed me, hope it blessed you too!

God Can Use You

The next time you feel like GOD can't use you, just remember...

Noah was a drunk
Abraham was too old
Isaac was a daydreamer
Jacob was a liar
Leah was ugly
Joseph was abused
Moses had a stuttering problem
Gideon was afraid
Samson had long hair and was a womanizer
Rahab was a prostitute
Jeremiah and Timothy were too young
David had an affair and was a murderer
Elijah was suicidal
Isaiah preached naked
Jonah ran from God
Naomi was a widow
Job went bankrupt
Peter denied Christ (3 times!)
The Disciples fell asleep while praying
Martha worried about everything
Mary Magdalene was caught fornicating
The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once...
Zaccheus was too small
Paul was too religious
John and James had anger issues
Timothy had an ulcer....

AND
Lazarus was dead!

Now! No more excuses!
God can use you to your full potential.
Besides, you aren't the message, you are just the messenger.
And one more thing...

In the Circle of God's love, God is waiting to use your full potential.
1. God wants spiritual fruits, not religious nuts.
2. 'Dear God : I have a problem. It's me. ' My Dear Child: I have the solution. It's Me! !'
3. Growing old is inevitable ... growing UP is optional.
4. There is no key to happiness. The door is always open.
5. Silence is often misinterpreted but never misquoted.
6. Do the math-count your blessings.
7. Faith is the ability to not panic.
8. Laugh every day. It's like inner jogging.
9. If you worry, you didn't pray. If you pray, don't worry.
10.As a child of God , prayer is kind of like calling home every day.
11.Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.
12.The most important things in your house are the people!
13.When we get tangled up in our problems,be still. God wants us to be still so He can untangle the knot.
14.A grudge is a heavy thing to carry.
15.He who dies with the most toys is still dead.

Have a great day!!! The SON is shining and He can certainly use you!

A Testimony From Sept 11

This is a real good story sent to me by a friend.

A man from Norfolk, VA called a local radio station to share this on Sept 11th, 2003, TWO YEARS AFTER THE TRAGEDIES OF 9/11/2001. His name was Robert Matthews. These are his words:

A few weeks before Sept. 11th, my wife and I found out we were going to have our first child. She planned a trip out to California to visit her sister. On our way to the airport, we prayed that God would grant my wife a safe trip and be with her. Shortly after I said 'amen,' we both heard a loud pop and the car shook violently. We had blown out a tire. I replaced the tire as quickly as I could, but we still missed her flight. both very upset, we drove home. I received a call from my father who was retired NYFD. He asked what my wife's flight number was, but I explained that we missed the flight. My father informed me that her flight was the one that crashed into the southern tower. I was too shocked to speak. My father also had more news for me; he was going to help. 'This is not something I can just sit by for; I have to do something.' I was concerned for his safety, of course, but more because he had never given his life to Christ. After a brief debate, I knew his mind was made up.??Before he got off of the phone, he said, 'take good care of my grandchild.' Those were the last words I ever heard my father say; he died while helping in the rescue effort.

My joy that my prayer of safety for my wife had been answered quickly became anger. I was angry at God, at my father, and at myself. I had gone for nearly two years blaming God for taking my father away. My son would never know his grandfather, my father had never accepted Christ, and I never got to say good-bye. Then something happened. About two months ago, I was sitting at home with my wife and my son, when there was a knock on the door. I looked at my wife, but I could tell she wasn't expecting anyone. I opened the door to a couple with a small child. The man looked at me and asked if my father's name was Jake Matthews. I told him it was. He quickly grabbed my hand and said, 'I never got the chance to meet your father, but it is an honor to meet his son.' He explained to me that his wife had worked in the World Trade Center and had been caught inside after the attack. She was pregnant and had been caught under debris. He then explained that my father had been the one to find his wife and free her. My eyes welled up with tears as I thought of my father giving his life for people like this. He then said, 'there is something else you need to know.' His wife then told me that as my father worked to free her, she talked to him and led him to Christ. I began sobbing at the news.

Now I know that when I get to Heaven, my father will be standing beside Jesus to welcome me, and that this family would be able to thank him themselves . When their baby boy was born, they named him Jacob Matthew, in honor of the man who gave his life so that a mother and baby could live.

This story should help us to realize this: God is always in control. We may not see the reason behind things, and we may never know this side of heaven, but God is ALWAYS in control.
Please take time to share this amazing story. You may never know the impact it may have on someone. God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.
Give thanks to the Lord for He is good. His love endures forever. Psalm 136:1
